About Liv

A little about me

I'm Liv, a trauma-informed breathwork practitioner based in the UK. I came to this work through my own healing journey and the profound shifts breathwork created in my own life.

I spent many years caught in the cycle of trying to fix myself through rigid routines, restriction, supplements, and constant self-improvement. In reality, these things were perpetuating a narrative that had followed me since childhood. I came to realise just how fragmented I'd become; living almost entirely in my head, completely disconnected from my body and from any real sense of who I was. Breathwork changed everything for me. It gave me the space to see that I had never felt safe to live in my body, and every unconscious attempt I made to feel safe, only disconnected me further. For the first time in my life I was able to sit with and feel my emotions rather than run from them or manage them with something external. I went from living in fear of my body to learning to actually trust it. This is why I now do this work, and have supported dozens of people on their own journeys.

At 33, I chose a different path. I weaned myself off medication, closed the marketing agency I'd run for nearly a decade, and moved toward the work that had already begun changing my life. I qualified as a breathwork facilitator in 2023, and completed my practitioner-level certification in 2025 with 400+ hours of study, personal practice, and ethics training. During this time I was also an assistant teacher at my breathwork school, and held free weekly online breathwork sessions for people from all around the world.

How we work together

Step 01

Intake Form

Complete the short form at the bottom of this page to share a bit about what's bringing you to breathwork. Everything you share is held in complete confidence. This helps me understand what support you're looking for before we meet.

Step 02

Discovery Call

We meet for a free, 20-minute call. You can share as much or as little as you'd like about yourself and what you're hoping to explore, ask questions, and see if working together feels like the right fit. There's no obligation to book.

Step 03

The Breathwork Session

A typical 90 minute session begins with a check-in and intention setting. Then we move into a guided breathwork journey, usually 40 minutes to an hour, accompanied by a playlist of music. We close with time to ground and process.

Step 04

Follow-Up Support

I'll check in with you after each session. The effects of breathwork can continue to unfold in the days that follow, and when working over a series, you'll have a private space to share what's surfacing or ask questions along the way.

My approach

Trauma-Informed breathwork
foundations

People come to breathwork for many reasons. You might be experiencing grief, anxiety, disconnection, or burnout. Perhaps you're starting to work through unresolved trauma and want support alongside that. You may have already explored talk therapy, medication, exercise, and other approaches to wellbeing, but you still feel like something is missing. Or maybe you don't know how to voice what you're feeling, you just know something feels off. Whatever is bringing you here, you are welcome to bring your whole self, however that shows up.

There are eight core principles I use when working with my clients. The reason these foundations are so important is because breathwork is a powerful catalyst and can produce strong physiological and psychological effects, and that requires someone to hold the space responsibly. Healing can only happen when our body feels safe in connection with someone who has done their own deep work. This is why it's important to work with a facilitator who is trained in a trauma-informed framework.

Intention

We begin by asking the question 'what's present for you today', establishing together what's going to best support you in the session.

Resourcing

We identify something internal or external that feels steady and comforting, a resource your nervous system can return to during and after a session.

Connection

We bring awareness to sensations in the body and breathe with them. As this connection strengthens, things begin to open organically.

Autonomy

You breathe at your own pace, following your own impulses. Over time, this builds trust in your body and allows you to attune to what you actually need.

Co-Regulation

My nervous system is actively listening to yours, attuning to shifts in your breath, body, and emotions, allowing you to feel truly supported as things begin to surface.

Collaboration

I can't define what safety feels like for you. That's why we work together over a series of sessions to establish trust in your voice, your needs and your boundaries.

Self-Trust

The soul of this work is to support you in becoming your own healer, more connected to yourself, your intuition, and your inner authority.

Acceptance

All parts of you are welcome. The parts you have been told to hide, learned to ignore or pushed down, they can be held and witnessed here, without judgement.

I offer packages because this work builds over time. One session can be powerful, but a series of sessions can be transformative.

In person sessions are held in Brighton on Sundays and Mondays and online sessions are held via Zoom.
